According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, 35-year-old Marco Reus is closing in on a free transfer to Major League Soccer (MLS) side LA Galaxy. Both parties are very close to completing the deal, with an announcement expected soon – Here We Go!
After his contract expired this summer, Reus left Borussia Dortmund, where he had played for many years, as a free agent. Now, he is ready to bid farewell to European football and move to the MLS.
It is understood that both sides have largely agreed on the terms of the move, with only some minor details of the contract still needing to be finalized.
LA Galaxy is a well-established powerhouse in the MLS, currently featuring former Barcelona player Riqui Puig and ex-Japan international Maya Yoshida among its ranks.
