On July 13, according to renowned foreign journalist Fabrizio Romano, La Liga side Villarreal has agreed to sign Willy Kambwala.
Romano wrote, “Villarreal is on the verge of signing Willy Kambwala from Manchester United! It’s understood that for the central defender born in 2004, this will be a permanent transfer for a fee of around €10 million. The deal also includes a future buy-back clause for Manchester United. Here we go! We will see it soon.”
The 19-year-old French center-back stands at 192cm tall, large and strong. The player transferred to Manchester United for €4 million in October 2020. Last season, he made it into Manchester United’s first team, earning ten appearances.
