According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, West Ham United are nearing the signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers central defender Max Kilman, with a transfer fee expected to be around £40 million.
Max Kilman is 27 years old and stands at 194cm. He is a left-footed centre-back who can also play as a left-back.
Last season, he featured in all 38 Premier League matches for Wolves, scoring two goals, making him a key figure in the team’s defense.
As per Romano, West Ham’s current manager, Julen Lopetegui, is “ready to do whatever it takes” to bring Kilman on board, and an agreement between the clubs is virtually done, with the transfer almost finalized.
