June 23 – Cangzhou Mighty Lions FC has announced the signing of foreign player Stephen Obileye, the loan arrival of Han Rongze and Zhu Yue, and the removal of captain Su Zu from the first team registration.
The official statement reads:
After friendly negotiations, English player Stephen Obileye officially joins Cangzhou Mighty Lions Football Club. Born on September 2, 1994, Obileye plays as a defender and has previously played for several English league clubs including Dagenham, Eastleigh, and Maidstone United. Last season, he featured for Livingston in the Scottish Premiership, making 38 appearances across all competitions. He will don the number 6 jersey for the Lions in the future.
Han Rongze from Shandong Taishan Football Club joins Cangzhou Mighty Lions FC on loan; Zhu Yue from Shanghai Greenland Shenhua Football Club also joins on loan.
After careful consideration and based on the club’s development plan, Su Zu has been removed from the first team squad. As one of the team captains, Su Zu spent nearly four years with the Lions, making 67 appearances and contributing seven goals and one assist as a key figure in defense.
