The Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo was already in Indonesia on October 13-15, preparing for the 2023 season’s Mandalika MotoGP. Currently enjoying a brief holiday in Bali, he has been sharing his experience on social media since Thursday. However, on Friday, October 6th, he mentioned the scorching heat as being uncomfortable.
In a post, he shared a photo of himself shirtless in front of his hotel room, accompanied by a picture of a tomato, symbolizing heat. The caption read “Bali” with a temperature gauge showing a high of 31°C, and even showed him with a flushed face from the warmth.
Despite the heat, Quartararo remains focused on adjusting to the conditions for the upcoming race, which is forecasted to be around 30-35 degrees Celsius on October 13-15 at Mandalika. Last year, during the inaugural event, he started from pole but settled for second after being overtaken by Miguel Oliveira on a wet track.
Quartararo aims for a more perfect result at the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP, and one way to achieve that is by acclimating better than his competitors. As the race weekend approaches, his resilience will certainly be put to the test on the track.
