Jakarta – The 2024 MotoGP season has reached its fourth round, taking place at the Jerez Circuit in Spain. Here is the 2024 Spanish MotoGP schedule.
The main event of the fourth series will take place on Sunday, April 28th. In Indonesia, the race will be broadcast at 19:00 Western Indonesian Time (WIB).
In tonight’s Spanish MotoGP, Marc Marquez, representing the Gresini Racing manufacturer, will kick off the battle from the front row. Second place belongs to Marco Bezzecchi of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 racing team.
The third starting position will be occupied by Jorge Martin from the Pramac Racing team. The Spaniard showcased his prowess with a strong finish in Saturday’s sprint race.
Following Martin’s victory in the Spanish MotoGP sprint, Pedro Acosta secured second place. Dani Pedrosa then managed to advance to fourth place, claiming the third podium spot after Fabio Quartararo was penalized and stripped of his third-place finish.
Quartararo eventually received an eight-second penalty due to tire pressure issues, causing him to drop to fifth in the final results of the sprint race.
Jorge Martin currently leads the 2024 MotoGP standings with 92 points. Pedro Acosta, riding for Red Bull GasGas Tech3, sits in second place with 63 points, while Enea Bastianini fills the third position with 59 points.
