The second round of the 2024 FIM MiniGP Malaysia Series, also known as the SIC Ohvale Junior Championship, took place on June 8-9 at the Sepang International Karting Circuit in Malaysia.
The SUPER-26 Racing Team continued its season with three riders: Chen Shihang on bike #78 competing in the 110cc class of the SIC Ohvale Junior Championship; Chen Shiyu on bike #43 and Long Junhao on bike #93 battling it out in the 190cc category of the FIM MiniGP Malaysia Series. All races featured Ohvale mini bikes, designed to FIM MiniGP World Series standards, produced by the Italian manufacturer.
Impeded by a hand injury from a crash in the opening round, Chen Shihang started the 110cc race in an unfavorable 11th position. In the 190cc category, Long Junhao secured third place for a front-row start, while Chen Shiyu qualified eighth, just 0.4 seconds off the pace, indicating intense competition.
