Jakarta – MotoGP rider Fabio Quartararo suffered a fractured left hand during his holiday from racing. This misfortune struck while he was riding an off-road motorcycle.
The Yamaha pilot shared the news on his Instagram account. In a recent post, Quartararo showed his left hand wrapped in thick bandages.
In his caption, Quartararo recounted the accident and his need for recovery. “Yesterday, I had a crash during off-road practice, and my left hand has a small fracture. No surgery needed, time to heal,” he quoted on December 13, Tuesday, on his Instagram account.
Currently, the MotoGP season is on break before the new campaign begins. Quartararo seized this downtime to engage in off-road motorcycle training.
Quartararo must now focus on rehabilitation, as he aims to prepare himself and his bike for a better performance in the 2023 MotoGP season.
The pre-season testing for the 2023 season will take place at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia from February 5-7 for the first test. The second test runs from February 10-12, followed by further pre-season testing at the Algarve Circuit in Portugal from March 11-12.
