Recently, in a video update shared on the official FAZE account, FAZE’s CEO Apex discussed the club’s future plans, stating that CS will always be an integral part of FAZE and touched upon his views on the Esports World Cup (EWC).
Latest news on the future of FAZE Clan Esports…
“Hope you’re all doing well. It’s clear that there have been a lot of developments at the club recently, and many are concerned about the future of FAZE in esports. Let me assure you, it’s not going anywhere! I’ve received numerous tweets asking me to keep the CS team – are you guys crazy? We’re the GOATs in this space, we believe in Finn Andersen | karrigan and the other boys; they’re incredible.
We’ve had multiple world number one teams, the strongest CS team, the strongest Call of Duty (COD) team, our Rainbow Six (R6) squad consistently dominates, and we’ve won Halo championships. We’re definitely staying in CS and these games – they’ve always been a part of FAZE, and they will continue to be. We’ll remain at the forefront globally.
Personally, I’m very interested in the esports industry in the Middle East. So, my focus will be on maximizing FAZE’s presence and earnings in gaming and esports. Esports in the Middle East has a bright future, and for me, it’s a natural fit. You know, I speak Arabic, I’m Palestinian.
Regarding the EWC, it’s the biggest esports event ever with a massive $60 million prize pool. Our CS team is already through to the main stage, and we’re hoping for spots in R6, Tekken 8, APEX, R1, PUBG, PUBG Mobile, and we’ll aim to compete in Fortnite as well. We’re striving to participate in any EWC game and looking for more talented players to join us and represent FAZE. I’m thrilled to be a part of these competitions and look forward to attending live events, maybe even seeing some of you there.
People might be unhappy with recent roster changes, but I appreciate the passion and concern from fans who care about the FAZE brand, even when our decisions may not seem ideal. Trust that everyone here wants the best for FAZE Clan, and with your support and collective efforts, we’ll achieve even greater success.
Love you all, see you at the Saudi Esports World Cup!
