This means that Danish legend gla1ve will return to the Major stage after being unable to qualify for the IEM Rio and BLAST.tv Paris Majors. Now, he will fight for the championship title on home soil.
For gla1ve, this marks the first time in eight years that he will not represent Astralis at a Major. The Danish in-game leader has previously won four Major titles with the team. This time, he contributed to sending his former squad to the LCQ (Last Chance Qualifier).
In the European RMR B group matches, gla1ve had a 0.95 rating across seven maps, marginally ahead of his teammate Paweł Dycha | dycha (0.94), but trailing behind some of his other teammates.
