Congratulations to Natus Vincere on securing spots in two major tournaments.
As the newly crowned champions of PGL Copenhagen Major, NaVi has automatically qualified for the 2024 EWC (Esports World Cup) and the BLAST Global Finals. Spirit previously earned these qualifications as the winners of IEM Katowice.
The EWC is set to commence on July 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, featuring 15 teams competing across three stages: Opening Stage, Last Chance Group, and Playoffs.
The Opening Stage follows a single-elimination BO3 format, with winners advancing to the Playoffs and losers dropping to the Last Chance Group. After BO1 and BO3 matches, the remaining teams that will progress to the Playoffs are determined.
The rest of the EWC participants will be decided through ESL World Rankings and closed qualifiers from other regions.
The BLAST Global Finals are scheduled for November 13-17, with the location yet to be announced. Eight teams will compete for a $1 million prize pool.
Teams will be divided into two GSL BO3 groups, with group winners advancing to the playoffs and 2nd-3rd place teams entering the quarterfinals. The playoffs will use a single-elimination BO3 format.
The winners of the BLAST Spring Finals, Fall Finals, and IEM Cologne will also qualify directly for the BLAST Global Finals. The remaining three spots will be determined by the BLAST Global Points leaderboard.
