According to information obtained by HLTV, BLAST is eying the United States for the hosting of the 2025 Summer Major, potentially taking place in Austin, Texas.
The official announcement could come during the upcoming BLAST Spring Finals, taking place from June 12-16, where BLAST has teased some secrets to be revealed, including details about the 2025 tournament format and more.
The first Major of 2025 is scheduled for June 9-22, marking the conclusion of the previous season. The Winter Major, on the other hand, will run from December 1-14.
BLAST hosted its inaugural Major event in Paris in 2023, which also served as the last CS:GO Major.
The last time a CS:GO Major was held in the United States was in 2018 when ELEAGUE organized the first Major of the year in Boston. Cloud9 triumphed over FaZe in the grand final to secure the title.
When contacted by HLTV, BLAST declined to comment, and Valve did not respond to requests for a statement.
