It is expected that try will join the Imperial team.
Today, Imperial announced the benching of HEN1. Previously, Brazilian media reported that Imperial had already reached out to try and submitted them into the ECL S48 South American roster.
HEN1 served with Imperial for a year. During this time, he helped the team reach the PGL Copenhagen Major and advance through the first stage to the main event.
On social media, the 29-year-old HEN1 expressed that the team’s decision came as a surprise to him, but he is ready to reinvent himself in his new team.
“When I joined Imperial, I was clear about my desire to play until retirement. I’m tired of having to find a new team every year and start over. Over the past few years, I’ve put in a lot of effort to maintain peak performance. As for matters outside the game, many people have been insinuating about my past, but I can assure everyone that I am a mature man, focused on my career, relationships, and family.
For years, there have been doubts about my form, but I hope to make them eat their words again. I am grateful for everything Imperial has done for me over the past year, and who knows, maybe our paths will cross again? I am open to offers and will do my utmost to seize new opportunities. I will reinvent myself, make everyone eat their words again, and you will be proud of me.”
The current Imperial lineup is as follows:
João Vasconcellos | felps
Vinicius Figueiredo | VINI
Lucas Bacelar | decenty
Kaiky Santos | noway
Rafael Fernandes | zakk (Coach)
