August 19, the qualifying playoffs for the 2026 Women’s Basketball World Cup begin today.
The event is divided into the Mexico zone and the Rwanda zone, with a total of 8 teams in each zone, and the champion of each zone will qualify for the Women’s Basketball World Cup qualifiers.
Mexico Zone:
Group A: South Korea, Mali, Czech Republic, Venezuela
Group B: Mexico, Mozambique, New Zealand, Montenegro
Rwanda Zone:
Group C: Brazil, Hungary, Senegal, Philippines
Group D: Rwanda, United Kingdom, Argentina, Lebanon
