On August 15, according to Cavaliers reporter Chris Fedor, the Cavaliers are interested in signing Brazilian men’s basketball forward Bruno Caboclo.
If the signing is completed, this would be Caboclo’s second stint in the NBA. Caboclo was selected by the Raptors with the 20th pick in the first round of the 2014 NBA Draft and has played for the Raptors, Kings, Grizzlies, and Rockets, appearing in 105 games and averaging 4.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game. Last season, Caboclo played for Partizan Belgrade, averaging 8.8 points and 3.9 rebounds.
In the Paris Olympics, Caboclo averaged 17.3 points and 7 rebounds, including a luxurious stat line of 33 points and 17 rebounds in a group stage game against the Japanese national team.
