On July 23, the NBA officially announced the summer league awards, including the first and second teams.
The first team consists of: GG Jackson from the Grizzlies, Jordan Miller from the Clippers, P.J. Washington from the Hornets, Sheppard from the Rockets, and Kendrick Nunn from the Heat. Among the rookies, Sheppard is one of the most outstanding performers, averaging 20 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 2.8 steals, 1.3 blocks per game.
The second team includes: Keldon Johnson from the Wizards, Justise Winslow from the Trail Blazers, Caleb Martin from the Heat, Tyrese Haliburton from the Pacers, and Keon Johnson from the Nets.
Notably, this season’s top pick, Trae Young from the Hawks, and the second overall pick, Keita Bates-Diop from the Wizards, were not included in the All-Star teams.
