July 20th, women’s basketball warm-up matches continued, with the Chinese women’s basketball team losing 57-79 to Belgium. In her first appearance since returning to the team, Li Yu’er played for 24 minutes, scoring 6 out of 9 field goals and 6 out of 10 free throws, totaling 19 points and 12 rebounds.
In the first half, Li Yu’er repeatedly scored points relying on her individual ability, with strong plays under the basket, three-point shots, and mid-range shooting. She and Han Xu combined efforts to keep the score close. In the second half, Zheng Wei intentionally kept Li Yu’er in the game for more experience, and she became the only highlight, frequently drawing fouls and earning trips to the free-throw line.
