On July 12th, according to Kings reporter Jason Anderson, this year’s No. 13 draft pick Devan Carter successfully underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
An update on his condition is expected in six months, and Carter is anticipated to make a full recovery following this procedure.
Devan Carter played for the Providence College Friars last season, appearing in 33 games, averaging 35.3 minutes per game with 19.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.0 blocks. He shot 47.3% from the field, 37.7% from three-point range, and 74.9% from the free throw line.
