Bulls guard Lonzo Ball was interviewed by the host on a podcast program.
Talking about being used as a trade chip by the Lakers for Anthony Davis, Ball said:
“When we walked through the players’ tunnel, we knew what was happening. We were told one thing (that we were being traded). That was the first time I realized that the NBA is absolutely a business. But at the same time, the trade target was Anthony Davis. In my heart, I thought this way, to be fair, I would even be willing to trade myself for Anthony Davis.”
