According to The Daily Mail today, Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland has signed a contract to become an ambassador for the Norwegian Seafood Council, a role that will last until October 2026.
It is well-known that Haaland has a particular fondness for food, earning him the reputation as a “foodie” in the Premier League. Early on in his time at Manchester City, he mentioned in an interview, “Seafood has been a part of my upbringing and diet. I believe Norwegian seafood is the best in the world and holds an important place in my life.”
Interestingly, apart from seafood, Haaland also has a soft spot for Italian pasta. As reported by The Sun, whenever in America, he visits a restaurant called Vero Moderno, where owner Beppe Pecorielli prepares a special pasta dish with cream and mushrooms for him.
Haaland has already represented the Norwegian national team in 29 matches, scoring 27 goals. They will host the Czech Republic at home at 1 AM Beijing Time tomorrow morning.
