Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, currently competing in the UEFA European Championship, recently shared his plans for life after football on talkSPORT.
“I have a few projects in mind, mostly related to development, such as real estate and architectural design. I’d like these ventures to be interconnected. I want to study architecture, something I’ve been interested in since I was young,” he said.
“Back when I lived on the tenth floor, I couldn’t see the center of Warsaw from my window. But there was this small window in a stairwell that offered a perfect view of the city’s skyline. Inspired by that little window, I envision creating a building that will change the urban landscape.”
“This won’t happen overnight; it’ll come after I retire. I plan to build a 150-story structure five years after hanging up my boots. To make these dreams a reality, I’m preparing step by step, hoping one day they’ll come to fruition.”
