Recently, Nikolai Petrosyan, the CEO of Virtus.pro, addressed the speculations surrounding the transfer fee for Denis Sharipov, known as electroNic.
While he didn’t disclose the exact figure, Petrosyan confirmed that the fee reached seven digits but was nowhere near the rumored $1.5 million.
“I believe no more than ten people in the world know the real number, and all of them work at Cloud9 and Virtus.pro,” he said.
Following the Paris Major, numerous exciting transfer rumors emerged, with three clubs reportedly chasing electroNic and offering amounts that could have reached $1.5 million. However, Petrosyan assured that the fee for electroNic’s move to Virtus.pro was significantly lower than that, still a high seven-figure sum.
electroNic officially joined Virtus.pro on April 15, replacing Nikolay Bityukov, known as mir, in the team.
Prior to this, renowned insider Alexey Birukov, also known as OverDrive, had hinted that electroNic’s transfer fee exceeded $1.5 million on social media.
