The Russian AWPer has decided to part ways with the Asian team after a brief tenure and is now looking to return to higher-level competition.
Before joining JiJieHao, Aleksei Gusev | El1an was previously seen playing for Winstrike and Entropiq. Following his departure from JiJieHao, he declared his openness to offers from European or CIS organizations.
El1an joined JiJieHao alongside Adel Guermassi | Remind earlier this year. He helped the squad qualify for the Asia RMR Open Qualifier but fell short against TYLOO and Grayhound in the subsequent RMR event, finishing 5th-6th and missing out on the Major.

On his personal social media, El1an stated, “Playing in Asia was an interesting experience, but now I am looking to continue my career in Europe or the CIS.”
El1an is seeking to reignite his career that has stagnated over the past 18 months. In 2021, he had his most successful year, averaging a 1.21 rating as part of Winstrike/Entropiq, reaching the Legends stage at PGL Stockholm Major and securing a runner-up finish at the V4 Future Sports Festival.
In September 2022, he parted ways with Entropiq after a disappointing run, and in 2023, he had brief stints with K23 and FORZE.
JiJieHao has yet to announce El1an’s replacement. Additionally, following Evgeny Batkin | bullet’s departure, the team is also in search of a new coach.
