PGL is now focusing on future T1 events.
Today, PGL announced that they will host 11 T1 and non-Major events in 2025 and 2026, with five in 2025 and six in 2026. This move might be related to Valve’s discontinuation of the tournament partnership system.
In PGL’s statement, they mentioned that given the upcoming changes, their current plans are unattainable, hence the long-term scheduling.
2025 PGL Events:
Event #1: February 10-24
Event #2: March 31-April 14
Event #3: May 3-19
Event #4: September 29-October 13
Event #5: October 18-November 3
2026 PGL Events:
Event #6: February 16-March 2
Event #7: March 23-April 6
Event #8: May 2-18
Event #9: August 3-17
Event #10: September 28-October 2
Event #11: October 19-November 2
However, it’s worth noting that PGL’s events will overlap with BLAST and ESL events. Their third event clashes with BLAST from April 28 to May 4, and their fourth event conflicts with ESL from September 23 to October 12.
