Match Summary
In the first game, iG’s lack of initiators put them on the back foot early on. TZ secured an advantage after a successful Roshan fight at 28 minutes and won the match at 31 minutes.
In the second game, iG’s pick of Viper as the carry gave them a dominant laning phase, securing a 21-minute lead. TZ’s attempt to steal the Aegis was discovered, dooming their chances for a comeback. iG won at 27 minutes.
In the third game, both teams exchanged leads in the early stage, but iG’s losses in two mid-game team fights allowed the Ants to develop. At 43 minutes, with the Ants carrying the Aegis, they pushed high ground, eliminating iG’s cores despite buybacks, securing the victory.
First Game
TZ on Radiant, iG on Dire.
Team compositions: Top lane – Beastmaster vs. Bane, Mid – Tiny vs. Dragon Knight, Bottom – Phantom Lancer vs. Bristleback and Omniknight.
Bristleback was caught and killed by Bane at the bottom bounty rune, securing the first blood for Bane. Bristleback and Omniknight then chased down Bane.
At 7 minutes, iG attempted to kill Beastmaster top but were repelled by TZ, resulting in the deaths of Phantom Lancer, Bristleback, and Enchantress.
At 14 minutes, TZ initiated with a fog in the tri-crease, Bane’s hook missed, and Beastmaster was killed by Bristleback’s bind. TZ lost three members in the engagement.
At 28 minutes, in the Roshan fight, Beastmaster’s ultimate killed Enchantress, while Phantom Lancer’s BKB activated to kill Dragon Knight. Dragon Knight tried to kill Phantom Lancer but was saved by Bane. After his BKB expired, he was killed by Tiny. Phantom Lancer used Soul Shackles to secure Bristleback’s death, leaving iG with four dead.
At 31 minutes, Dragon Knight was caught out in the wild, and TZ pushed high ground with the Aegis, destroying two lanes. Tiny then threw back Bristleback for the kill. TZ proceeded to push the third lane, and Phantom Lancer killed Dragon Knight with Satanic, leading iG to surrender.
Second Game
TZ on Radiant, iG on Dire.
Team compositions: Top – Night Stalker vs. Anti-Mage, Mid – Earthshaker vs. Dragon Knight, Bottom – Chaos Knight vs. Nature’s Prophet and Disruptor.
iG had advantages in all three lanes, leading by 3k gold at 10 minutes.
At 12 minutes, Earthshaker was caught while farming vision and killed. Disruptor followed up with a Black King Bar Ultimate on Anti-Mage, killing him too.
At 17 minutes, iG invaded the jungle with a fog, killing Chaos Knight, then attacking Ice Dragon under the tower. However, their two supports stayed too long and were killed by Earthshaker’s Earthshaker ability.
At 19 minutes, Night Stalker and Anti-Mage targeted Dragon Knight, but Viper and Disruptor teleported down, killing Night Stalker. Chaos Knight and Anti-Mage engaged on Disruptor, but Dragon Knight jumped and stunned Anti-Mage, allowing Viper to deal damage from the front line. TZ lost four members.
At 21 minutes, TZ’s attempt to steal the Aegis was discovered, and Earthshaker initiated, followed by Dragon Knight’s face-check. TZ lost three cores as Dragon Knight claimed the Aegis.
At 25 minutes, TZ attempted to make a comeback but failed as Chaos Knight was killed, and iG pushed high ground, destroying middle and bottom barracks.
At 27 minutes, TZ emerged from fog for a last-ditch effort but failed. Chaos Knight couldn’t handle Dragon Knight and was killed, leading to a GG from TZ.
Third Game
TZ on Radiant, iG on Dire.
Team compositions: Top – Earthshaker and Chen vs. Phantom Lancer and Windranger, Mid – Earth Elemental vs. Shadow Demon, Bottom – Antimage and Treant Protector vs. Disruptor and Bristleback.
iG had a slight advantage in the laning phase. At 14 minutes, Earthshaker and Shadow Demon started a fight in the mid lane, killing Bristleback, but iG’s follow-up wasn’t lethal, resulting in Phantom Lancer’s death. TZ capitalized, killing four iG members.
At 25 minutes, Shadow Demon killed a low-health Earth Elemental but was himself killed by Earthshaker’s collision. Phantom Lancer attempted a BKB initiation but was killed, and Earth Elemental and Earthshaker took out Shadow Demon. TZ attempted to push the middle tier two tower, but Disruptor and Phantom Lancer were sacrificed to stop them.
At 32 minutes, Disruptor initiated with an Ice Armor and used his ultimate, but his team couldn’t handle the front line, and he was left behind, along with Shadow Demon. Antimage secured the Aegis.
At 36 minutes, TZ pushed high ground with the Aegis. Phantom Lancer was killed after being controlled, and TZ destroyed the bottom barracks before turning to the middle. Disruptor ulted Antimage but failed to kill him. TZ took out the middle high ground tower and retreated.
At 43 minutes, TZ pushed high ground again, and Phantom Lancer’s attempt to pull Antimage failed as he died without activating his BKB. Disruptor also used his ultimate without success. TZ regrouped, destroyed the middle barracks, and killed the remaining heroes. iG surrendered.
