Virtus.pro has officially announced the addition of former 9 Pandas coach Xoma to its roster, taking on the role of the team’s new head coach.
Xoma steps into the position previously held by Dastan Akbayev | dastan, who during his tenure with Virtus.pro, helped the team secure four offline tournament victories, including a Major championship.
Xoma’s coaching career began in 2018. Prior to joining 9 Pandas, he was involved with lower-tier CIS teams. Under his guidance, 9 Pandas qualified for the main event of the Copenhagen Major European RMR, but ultimately could not participate due to visa issues.
Xoma will commence his duties from June 17th, with his first tournament at the helm of VP being the Esports World Cup.
