Notably, on this day, he became the youngest coach in Euros history, surpassing the previous record held by Slovenia’s Srečko Katanec, who was 36 years and 333 days old when he took charge of his first match at the 2000 Euros. Nagelsmann broke Katanec’s record by a narrow margin of six days.
