With Tasmania from Australia’s NBL confirming its participation, the tournament has finally assembled clubs from all five continents. It includes the NBL champion from Australia, the BAL champion from Africa, a G League team from the NBA, and the champions of the European, American, and Asian Basketball Champions League. Apart from the Asian Basketball Champions League title, which has yet to be determined, the participating clubs from other continents have already been confirmed.
