Today, according to Australian sports reporter @StarXia Aussie Basketball, the Brisbane Bullets have confirmed they will not renew Baynes for the new season.
The report reads as follows:
“The Brisbane Bullets have confirmed that they will not sign a new contract with Aron Baynes for the new season. Baynes played for the Brisbane Bullets for two seasons, a total of forty-seven games, averaging 11.7 points and 7.8 rebounds in his first season. However, with Harrison’s growth and the club’s development of Zac Cable, Baynes’ position gradually became less secure.”
“Baynes has an NBA career record of 576 appearances, playing for five different teams. He won the NBA championship with the San Antonio Spurs in 2014. His professional journey spans across Europe, including leagues in Greece, Lithuania, Germany, and Slovenia. At 37 years old (born on December 9, 1986), it may be time for him to conclude his professional career.”
