According to renowned journalist David Ornstein from The Athletic, Napoli has reached an agreement with Manchester United regarding the transfer of McTominay.
Reports indicate that Napoli’s latest offer has been accepted by all parties, with a transfer fee of 30 million euros, and a clause for a percentage of any future sale included in the contract.
McTominay’s current contract with Manchester United has less than a year remaining, with an option to extend for an additional year. Due to McTominay’s status as a youth academy graduate, Manchester United can record the entirety of this transfer fee as financial revenue, significantly improving the club’s financial fair play standing.
It is reported that after selling McTominay, Manchester United will bring in Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Ugarti.
