Sky Sports commentator and Premier League legend, Neville, stated that Manchester United has not repeated past mistakes this year, and the summer transfer window’s recruitment work has been going very smoothly.
In previous transfer windows, Manchester United occasionally signed new players at inflated prices, which was widely criticized. Many fans believed that the club was not spending money where it mattered most, and despite heavy spending, there was no substantial improvement to the team.
Neville commented, “Now Manchester United is much smoother in the transfer window, they are more calm when buying players, the prices are not inflated, and they are no longer paying excessive fees.”
“During last week’s match against Brighton, Manchester United were still making mistakes, but at least in this transfer window, the club’s senior management seems much calmer, acting only after deeper consideration.”
