Napoli has officially announced the transfer of Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea. The player has signed a contract with the club until 2027.
This is his fourth team in four years, having previously played for Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Roma.
It is understood that Napoli will pay Chelsea a transfer fee of 30 million euros, plus an additional 15 million euros in variable clauses. Lukaku’s personal agreement with Napoli is a contract valid until June 2027, with an annual salary of 6.5 million euros, and includes an option for one additional year.
The 31-year-old Lukaku, who came through the ranks of Belgian youth football, transferred to Chelsea in 2011, before moving on to Everton, Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Roma. Throughout his career, he has scored 309 goals and provided 90 assists in 647 official matches. In his national team career, he has made 119 appearances, scoring 85 goals and providing 18 assists. Currently, his market value is estimated at 30 million euros by Transfermarkt.
