Milan’s official announcement: The team has signed Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana.
The 25-year-old Fofana plays as a defensive midfielder, and his contract with Monaco was originally set to expire next summer. Milan paid a total transfer fee of 25 million euros to sign Fofana, agreeing to a 4+1 year contract. Milan coach Fonseca previously stated that Fofana would be the final signing of the summer transfer window for Milan.
Fofana will wear the number 29 shirt for the Rossoneri.
