August 29. According to German Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich informed Bayer Leverkusen today over the phone that should Kingsley Coman be sold, the club is willing to offer 20 million euros plus an additional 5 million euros in add-ons for defender Jonathan Tah.
However, Bayer Leverkusen still wants to retain Tah, and the player is not currently on the transfer list. Leverkusen has informed both Bayern and the player’s agent that the team does not have time to find a replacement at present.
It is understood that negotiations are still ongoing, but Plettenberg states that it currently seems unlikely to happen.
