According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Ramos has joined Al Orubah, a newly promoted team in the Saudi Pro League, signing a two-year contract.
It is reported that the only thing left to finalize the deal is the medical examination, which is expected to take place in the coming days.
Ramos, currently 38 years old, started his career in the youth academy of Sevilla and joined Real Madrid in 2005, where he played for 16 years. In the summer of 2021, Ramos moved to Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent and returned to his parent club Sevilla for the 2023/24 season before leaving the team after his contract expired in June this year.
Interestingly, apart from Al Orubah, it was previously reported by media that teams such as Al Nassr Riyadh and Al Ittihad Jeddah had also shown interest in Ramos.
Notably, if Ramos successfully joins Al Orubah, there could be a famous scene of him defending Ronaldo alone in the Saudi Pro League.
