According to AS, Real Madrid is interested in signing another central defender and is considering bringing back discarded youth player Gilá.
Gilá, 23 years old, played for Real Madrid’s youth academy from 2018-2022 before being sold to Lazio in the summer of 2022. He was part of Spain’s U21 team. Following the loss of Tchouaméni to Manchester United, Real Madrid is turning its attention back to a player they once let go.
Gilá recently suffered a toe fracture, but after medical checks, it has been determined that there are no serious issues, and he is expected to return within a month. He is open to the idea of coming back to Real Madrid.
