On July 25, recently, U.S. men’s basketball guard Stephen Curry spoke to the media.
When asked why he had never participated in the Olympics before, Curry said, “In 2012, I was not selected because my level was not up to par at that time. In 2016, I had just finished the finals and needed time to rest and prepare for the new season. In 2020, it was due to COVID-19; I’m almost forgetting what happened then, but it wasn’t a good time for me.”
“Draymond [Green] went to the Olympics and won two gold medals, but I missed out. This year, I have plenty of rest time to prepare for the Paris Olympics, which is really cool.”
