At 3:00 PM on August 6th, the Olympic women’s volleyball quarterfinals took place with China facing off against Turkey.
In the first set, the Chinese and Turkish women’s teams were unable to create a significant point differential, battling to a 17-17 tie at one point. Then, the Chinese team gradually gained the upper hand, winning the first set 25-23.
In the second set, the Turkish team stepped up their offense, taking an early 7-2 lead. The Chinese team followed closely behind but still lost the second set 21-25.
In the third set, after leveling at 5-5, the Turkish team suddenly surged ahead, establishing an 11-6 lead. The Chinese team continued to chase and managed to tie the score at 24-24. However, the Turkish team scored two consecutive points to win the third set 26-24.
