On August 5, the Olympic Men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Shooting entered the final competition. In the end, Chinese athlete Li Yuehong won the gold medal with 32 points, South Korean athlete Cho Yong-Jae won the silver medal with 25 points, and Chinese athlete Wang Xinjie won the bronze medal with 23 points.
With this being the 20th gold medal for the Chinese delegation at these Games, they have now surpassed the United States in the medal tally and have risen to the top temporarily.
