On August 4, Juventus coach Motta recently discussed changes in the team since his appointment during an interview. Motta stated that the team is still in the process of improvement and hopes to gain the satisfaction of the fans.
Motta said, “Compared to last week, I’ve seen progress, which is as expected: this friendly match is part of our preparation process. The number of players and the level of play are both increasing, so I am satisfied with how the game progressed.”
Additionally, Motta added, “I am also pleased to see the warm welcome from the fans, which is exactly what we need. In return, we hope to make them happy and content with our performance.”
During his playing career, Motta played for clubs such as Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Genoa, Inter Milan, and Paris Saint-Germain, winning multiple honors including two UEFA Champions League titles, two La Liga titles, one Serie A title, and five Ligue 1 titles, among others. He notably helped Inter Milan achieve a treble in the 2009-10 season.
Last season, Motta led Bologna to an impressive record of 18 wins, 14 draws, and 6 losses over 38 rounds in Serie A, finishing fifth and securing a spot in the Champions League.
