According to German Sky Sports, former Liverpool center-back Joel Matip is a potential replacement for Jonathan Tah at Bayer Leverkusen.
Jonathan Tah is a target for Bayern Munich this summer, and Leverkusen have been in very positive talks with Matip about a move. The 32-year-old player left Liverpool on a free transfer after his contract expired this summer.
Matip is interested in a move to Bundesliga champions Leverkusen, and the two parties are negotiating a two-year deal, although no verbal agreement has been reached yet.
However, Leverkusen is not the only club interested in the Cameroonian international, as Matip has other options available to him.
