August 6 – Manchester United have released an injury update stating that new signing defender Yoro has successfully undergone foot surgery and is expected to be out for three months.
Manchester United have confirmed that their defender Yoro underwent successful surgery for his foot injury on Monday. Yoro sustained the injury during a preseason friendly match against Arsenal in the U.S.
Yoro has now begun his recovery, and Manchester United anticipates that the 18-year-old center-back will return to full health in approximately three months.
This summer, Yoro joined Manchester United from Lille in Ligue 1 for a transfer fee of 62 million euros. It is understood that the maximum transfer fee could reach 70 million euros.
