Phil Foden has rounded off his pre-season break by landing a big catch at a lake in Oxfordshire that charges £14 a day. The Manchester City star showcased the results of his fishing endeavors during a five-day family trip.
Foden has always been an avid angler, having been seen fishing with his family while on holiday in June. Recently, he was spotted catching several fish with his father at a lake in Oxfordshire.
Following England’s run to the Euro 2024 final, Foden has not yet returned to training with Manchester City, unlike his teammates who have been preparing in the United States this summer.
With the Premier League set to return, Foden enjoyed the remainder of his summer break at a fishing lake in Oxfordshire. A series of photos posted on social media show Foden and his father catching catfish, carp, roach, pike, and perch at a lake near the town of Witney.
Foden is due back in training on Monday, and he has previously revealed that most of his other Manchester City teammates are not as keen on fishing as he is.
