On July 15, according to an official announcement by the Shanghai Jiading HuiLong Club, a youth team player has been officially promoted to the senior squad.
The club statement reads as follows:
Zhou Junhao, born in November 2006, is a native of Jiading, Shanghai. He plays as a midfielder, standing at 177cm tall and weighing 67kg. He possesses excellent ball control and passing skills, excels at playing short passes with teammates, has good stamina, and is capable of long-range shots.
Zhou Junhao joined the Shanghai Jiading HuiLong youth academy in 2014. In 2019, he helped his team finish sixth in the first edition of the National Youth Super League. In 2021, he won the championship in the B Division of the Shanghai Ten Series Tournament. In 2022, he secured second place in both the Shanghai Youth Club League and the Shanghai Youth Games. That same year, he also won the championship in the Shanghai Secondary Vocational League. In 2023, his team finished seventh in the U17 Professional Club League. Most recently, in 2024, he won the championship in the A Division of the Shanghai Ten Series Tournament.
Zhou Junhao is the first local Jiading player to be signed by the senior team of Shanghai Jianding HuiLong. We hope that Zhou Junhao will carry the dreams of all the local football kids in Jiading as he steps onto the professional football stage!
