According to the Brazilian edition of GOAL, Manchester United have shown interest in Colombian international Richard Ríos, who shone at the Copa America.
Richard Ríos is currently 24 years old, plays as a midfielder, and is with Palmeiras. He came through the Flamengo youth system and was once loaned out to Mazatlán. At this year’s Copa America, he helped Colombia reach the final, playing six games and scoring one goal, but they finished as runners-up.
GOAL reports that Manchester United are now interested in the midfielder and are preparing an offer of £17 million. Palmeiras do not intend to let Ríos go this summer, and there have been no formal transfer negotiations yet.
