August 1 – According to previous reports from several Spanish media outlets, Barcelona has updated its offer for Leipzig midfielder Dani Olmo today, with a fixed transfer fee reaching 50 million euros and an additional clause of 15 million euros.
However, according to the deputy editor of Sport, Barcelona’s latest offer is a fixed transfer fee of 47 million euros plus an additional clause of 13 million euros, totaling 60 million euros, which is an increase of 7 million euros on the fixed fee compared to the previous offer.
It is claimed that Barcelona has not given up on Nico Williams but is still making efforts to sign Olmo. Meanwhile, Leipzig hopes to receive 60 million euros in this transfer, consistent with the previous release clause.
Sport reveals that Barcelona’s latest offer for Olmo consists of three parts: the first part is a fixed transfer fee of 47 million euros, which will be paid directly to Leipzig; the second part is a clause based on appearances, with an amount of 3 million euros to be paid once Olmo reaches a certain number of appearances as a Barcelona player; the third part is an additional bonus clause, where Leipzig will receive the transfer fee if Olmo wins a series of titles with Barcelona.
Barcelona believes that this offer can easily meet Leipzig’s requirements and considers it a very fair offer.
