Brazilian sports outlet Globo Esporte reports that 16-year-old Grêmio prospect Gabriel Maque is set to join Chelsea.
The young talent Gabriel Maque, who plays for Grêmio’s U20 team, has caught the attention of Chelsea. According to Globo Esporte, negotiations have been successful, and Chelsea will sign the prodigy for approximately €24 million. The contract will be for five years, with an option to extend for a further two years.
However, the player can only leave his current club once he turns 18. This is similar to the situation with Real Madrid’s Endrick, meaning if Maque transfers to Chelsea, he will only be able to officially join in April 2026.
