Match Overview
In the first game, both teams had an intense back-and-forth during the laning phase with frequent trades of kills. After the laning phase, LGD executed orderly ganks to build a lead, steadily widening the gold difference and securing the victory by playing cautiously.
The second game mirrored the first, with both teams maintaining parity in the early stages. After the laning phase, Heroic capitalized on several team fights to establish an advantage. Despite Heroic making several mistakes later on, the core economic disparity was too great for LGD to find an opportunity to turn the game around, resulting in their loss.
First Game
Dire: Heroic, Radiant: LGD
Laning: Heroic’s Vengeful Spirit vs LGD’s Static Remnant in mid; Witch Doctor and Ancient Apparition vs Rubick and Bloodseeker in the top lane; Enchantress and Earthshaker vs Invoker and Clockwerk in the bottom lane.
During the laning phase, both teams were evenly matched, with Heroic utilizing the Vengeful Spirit’s laning advantage to suppress Bloodseeker by 1K gold in the top lane. However, Vengeful Spirit and Enchantress were both pressured in the mid and bottom lanes, with Vengeful Spirit falling significantly behind in gold due to LGD’s proactive roams by their supports.
At 9 minutes, Static Remnant and Bloodseeker led their team to charge the bottom tower, killing Enchantress. Heroic’s support arrived swiftly to counter-engage, taking out two of LGD’s members. Witch Doctor attempted to lead a follow-up attack, but the remaining three members of LGD managed to stall, with Invoker holding his ground against Witch Doctor. The teams fought for nearly a minute until LGD’s respawns returned to the battlefield, killing Vengeful Spirit and Ancient Apparition, turning the tide in their favor.
At 11 minutes, LGD grouped up to launch another assault on the bottom lane, resulting in the deaths of Heroic’s bottom lane duo, followed by LGD taking the tower.
After the laning phase, LGD started executing organized ganks centered around Invoker, picking off Enchantress and the two supports repeatedly. The gold difference between the teams widened to 5K.
At 18 minutes, both teams clashed over the river runes, leading to a team fight. Witch Doctor initiated the engagement but was caught by Clockwerk’s hook and quickly focused down. Heroic crumbled under the pressure, allowing LGD to take down Ancient Apparition, extending their gold lead to 7K, gaining control of the map.
At 22 minutes, LGD secured the Roshan, with Bloodseeker acquiring the Aegis. LGD began to exert map control and pick off targets while being cautious.
At 27 minutes, after catching Vengeful Spirit and Witch Doctor in the bottom jungle, LGD pushed with the Aegis, forcing Heroic to retreat. LGD easily took down the bottom lane, pulling ahead by 9K gold before withdrawing.
At 30 minutes, Heroic initiated a fog push from the top lane, attempting to create an opening. However, LGD spotted them and responded with Invoker initiating the fight. LGD’s cores engaged and killed Witch Doctor, then turned to protect their backline, leveraging their gold lead to easily pick off Witch Doctor and Vengeful Spirit. LGD advanced onto the high ground, breaking through all three lanes, leading by 19K gold and virtually sealing the win. Knowing they had no chance to come back, Heroic made one final desperate charge before conceding.
Second Game
Dire: LGD, Radiant: Heroic
Laning: LGD’s Dragon Knight vs Heroic’s Batrider in mid; Tidehunter and Earthshaker vs Clockwerk and Void Spirit in the top lane; Phoenix and Leshrac vs Ember Spirit and Ancient Apparition in the bottom lane.
During the laning phase, both teams were locked in intense skirmishes, with each side achieving double kills on the opposing third and fourth positions in the advantage lanes. Kills were frequently exchanged in both flank lanes.
At 8 minutes, Batrider led by the two supports attempted to kill Dragon Knight, but Tidehunter’s timely arrival couldn’t save Dragon Knight, although he did manage to take down Clockwerk afterwards.
At 10 minutes, Ancient Apparition lured Phoenix into a tower dive, resulting in Phoenix’s death. However, Ember Spirit and his team chased too deep, managing to kill Leshrac under the first tower, but both Ember Spirit and Clockwerk were taken down by Tidehunter’s arrival. At 12 minutes, Dragon Knight was caught and killed again, falling significantly behind in gold. Overall, Heroic held a slight upper hand, leading by 2K gold.
At 13 minutes, Heroic fogged the top lane to catch Tidehunter and Earthshaker.
At 15 minutes, the teams clashed at the same location, engaging in battle. Void Spirit found the perfect timing to cast his ultimate on three members of LGD, who, seeing their poor state, retreated. Heroic’s reinforcements arrived to secure kills, wiping out LGD. Dragon Knight, upon respawning, was caught and killed in the jungle once more, pushing Heroic’s gold lead to 10K.
At 20 minutes, Heroic pushed into the top lane. LGD fogged to ambush and successfully nuked down Void Spirit instantly, using all their abilities. Despite the significant equipment disparity, Heroic forced the fight, barely managing to kill Leshrac and Phoenix, but their entire team was wiped out, allowing LGD to claw back some gold.
At 23 minutes, Heroic claimed the Roshan, with Void Spirit acquiring the Aegis.
At 26 minutes, Heroic attempted to push the mid lane. Both teams made errors, with Batrider finding an opportunity to jump and pull Dragon Knight, but was caught by Spirit Breaker’s charge. Void Spirit’s ultimate was cast too late, causing him to fall out of position with his teammates, and unable to engage, he had to temporarily retreat, only to be caught and lose the Aegis. Both teams backed off, ending the engagement.
Heroic maintained control of the jungle, applying pressure. At 28 minutes, LGD actively fogged to strike, seeking an opportunity, but their initiation was poorly positioned. Four of their members were caught on the high ground, taking damage from Ancient Apparition’s bombardment and Void Spirit’s ultimate. Although Heroic’s output was slightly lacking and failed to secure any kills, LGD, without a successful initiation, was also broken apart in the ensuing tug-of-war due to their inferior equipment. Ultimately, Void Spirit traded one for five, wiping out LGD. Heroic advanced onto the high ground, breaking the bottom lane, leading by 24K gold, virtually sealing the win.
At 33 minutes, Heroic claimed the new Roshan, with Void Spirit acquiring the Aegis and pushing forward. They easily overwhelmed LGD’s scattered resistance, ending the game.
