On July 17, the NBA Summer League continued, with the Clippers easily defeating the Bucks 112-97, securing their third consecutive win.
The Clippers had already won their first two games, and they quickly found their rhythm this time around, taking control of the game. They steadily increased their lead, although the Bucks managed to keep up. However, in the final quarter, the Clippers stabilized the situation and ultimately secured the victory, putting them in a position to potentially advance to the semi-finals after their third straight win.
In this game, Miller once again delivered an impressive performance. He had been the team’s top scorer in the previous two games, even dropping 36 points in the first match, which was the highest score in the entire summer league. Miller played consistently through the first three quarters, but in the fourth quarter, he exploded. He went 5 for 5 in that quarter, scoring 11 points. Especially in the last 30 seconds, when everyone thought it was garbage time, he suddenly went on a rampage: first breaking through for a layup, then following up with a powerful two-handed dunk, and finally stealing the ball to hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer on one foot, scoring 7 points in just 30 seconds, which was quite remarkable.
Jordan Miller, the 48th pick from last year’s draft, signed a two-way contract with the Clippers for two years. With performances like these, there’s a chance he could earn a permanent spot on the roster.
