On July 14, Mane’s agent refuted rumors that the player would return to Red Bull Salzburg.
Mane’s agent, Joern Besser, said, “I have not held any transfer talks with any club regarding Mane. He is preparing for the new season with Al-Nassr and has absolutely no intention of leaving. His club is very satisfied with him.”
Mane spent a total of two seasons at Salzburg before soon transferring to Premier League teams Southampton and Liverpool. He made 87 appearances for the Austrian club, scoring 45 goals, and won the Austrian Bundesliga title in 2014.
